Impact Measurement Lead
[REMOTE | FULL-TIME]
At Tech To The Rescue, we've enabled over a thousand tech-for-good partnerships, and the people who fund and join our programs want to know what difference they make. As our Impact Measurement Lead, you'll own how we answer that question: the MEL framework behind our programs, the data that feeds it, and the evidence we share with donors, partners, and the wider sector.
You'll combine survey analysis with in-depth interviews to show what's working and why, turning that into insight for our programs and partnerships. You'll also use AI tools to move faster while making sure every published figure is one we can stand behind.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, implement, and own the MEL framework for our programs and operations, and keep it up-to-date as the programs change.

Design MEL data architecture that transfers the data into an operational dashboard: data governance, platform-record quality, migration planning and tooling choices.

Design, run and analyse quarterly check-in surveys among participants of our programs.

Screen and assess cohort applicants against the quality of their impact reporting.

Conduct qualitative Impact interviews with tech partners and NGO partners that support comms and provide in-depth and nuanced insights on the impact of Tech To The Rescue’s programs.

Create summaries, reports, analyses for internal and external stakeholders.

Contribute measurement content to the annual Impact Report and to research partnerships (e.g. think-tank engagements).

Ensure all written outputs follow TTTR Comms Guidelines and Tone of Voice.
Stakeholder management & ways of working
-
Work with program, partnership, and marketing leads and the CEO as their measurement partner.

Manage donor-facing measurement relationships.

Use agentic AI tools (e.g. Claude Cowork) to accelerate analysis, drafting and routine data refreshes while retaining human verification of every published figure.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

5+ years in monitoring, evaluation and learning, with at least one role where you owned a framework end to end (design, rollout, revision).

Mixed-methods analysis: quantitative survey analysis plus qualitative interview coding and synthesis.

Ability to present complex data in a compelling and easy to understand way.

Strong written English skill to create materials for audiences keen to understand TTTR impact

Self-management in a small, fast-moving organisation: builds and maintains their own workplans, tracks key results, works without a hands-on manager.

Strong computer skills in data related concepts, e.g. API, MCP.
Nice-to-haves
-
Familiarity with AI/technology adoption in non-profits, or MEL for tech-for-good, accelerator or capacity-building programmes.

Python or R for analysis and reproducible pipelines.

Experience designing value-for-money or resource-allocation instruments (SROI, cost-effectiveness, contribution analysis).

Background in humanitarian or development sectors.
